Before we produce your Giclee we Digitally CALIBRATE, CHARACTERIZE, and CONVERT the color to maintain the brilliance and clarity achieved in the high resolution scan.
Think about it like this. You painted your original using your own distinctive color palette. Now we have to convert your palette into colors that the computer and printer understand. Our equipment actually reads the colors in your original. Then we compare those colors with the colors that the canvas or fine art paper we are printing on can reproduce. This gives us the ability to translate “your color palette colors” into a “Color Language” that our high resolution Giclee Printing equipment can understand.
